Mr Belmont was recently de-mobbed in New York City with a "Section 8" [Medical] Honorable Discharge after an operation in Brazil [May 1989] went bad and he was the only surviver of his 12 man Delta Force Fire team.

He is still unable to properly explain why he felt it neccesary to put a silver bullet into the brain of each of his comrades' corpse after the battle and behead the remains of the terrorists killed in the incident. This autopsy report remains, like the mission, classified.

As of July 1989, Ashton Belmont has found civilian employment as a bouncer/security guard for the New York night spot, the Nosferatu Club. A name he finds oddly amusing and oddly prescient.
