Paladin of the West |
Sam Slade....a man of many talents. A loving family man who can make time for his children (being rich helps there as well). A successful businessman with a eye for future potential in an enterprise. A skilled Lawman & former Bounty Hunter who didn't always bring them back alive [dead, is sometimes easier to transport - they don't fight extradition then]. A lawyer with a Harvard degree (mail order but legit - he paid for testers to come out west) and now a Federal Circuit Court Judge (appointed by President Hayes in 1877).
Sam Slade is a man tolerant of many of the flaws of others, while still holding himself firm against the tide of moral decay authors & speech makers acclaim taints the spiritual fiber of the country today [1881] while they uphold the supposed virtues of the past as models for the future. [Yet with all of this high faluting banter, Federal Judge Slade still owns a hotel that has a thriving brothel with the beautious Saint Louie Ladies as its star attraction.]
