7 Federal Agents Indicted (US Marshals Office) July 19, 1989

Dateline: Los Angeles Ca.
The Law Enforcement community was suprised today with the release of indictments for several popular agents of the US Marshal's office here in Los Angeles.  Sought for murders in New York and San Francisco and violations of the Slade-Hartley AntiCorruption act are the noted and decorated agents Justin Carlos Daniels (known to thousands of racing fans as "Racer X®") and Anthony James ("Casket") Corelli ex Army Special Forces. Three of the 7 US Marshals indicted were arrested Wednesday morning, with the whereabouts of the four others currently unknown.
Agents of the IRS, the Securities and Exchange Commission and the US Marshals office seized assets belonging to the 7 accused Marshals and froze accounts belonging to several ancillery organizations including a Los Angeles Youth Center in the Barrio mentioned in one of the indictments as a recipient of property improperly consficated from people not charged nor convicted of any crime and the Racer X Bike Racing Team ® Also seized were shares of stock in various corporations including Northrop, Westwind and Lear as proceeds of crimes pending final trial and disposition of the assets.   ATF agents were called in to remove large quantities of unexploded ammunition from the homes of several agents involved.
Quoting Sam Harrison of the ATF: "I've only seen this much stuff in a Schwarzenegger film." at the run down suburban home of Anthony "Casket" Corelli where several large trucks were used to remove the weapons, ammunition and equipment.
Valerie Stratford AAG is for once quiet as the Justice Dept.'s favorite spokesmodel remains in Washington DC. deep in "consultation" with the Attorney General's office. No official word except the warrents and indictments isssued has been released by the Department of Justice.
As of Press time fugitive warrants have been issued for Anthony Corelli, Justin Daniels, Detective Jonathan Hemlock and Detective Tomei Nakagomi (who was involved in a latenight altercation which resulted in the death of an FBI agent and the injury of two others).
In Custody tonight are Detectives Toru Shishikura, named as one of the triggermen in the January 13, 1988 slaying at New York's King of Spades night club; and Detectives Alastaria Jessair and Daniel Benson charged with felony murder charges for involvement with the January 31, 1989 slaying of two security guards at the same New York night club.
