Accused Marshal dies in cell

Dateline: Rykers Island, New York State.
  Accused Ex-Federal Agent Toru Shishikura, 26, an alleged triggerman in the January 13th slaying of Tolvar Solerdaro and 10 others at the north side King of Spades night club, was found dead today by warders in his maximum security cell at Rykers Island. The cause of death has not been established at this time, an autopsy is scheduled. Officials at Rykers have said that Shishikura was not on sucide watch and say no signs of such behavior were present.
  Justice Dept attorny Ben Kingsford, appointed counsel for the indigent Ex-Marshal, spoke to reporters today in NYC.
  "No matter the autopsy results, this event puts an end to a sad and confused man's fight to restore his dignity and good name." Kingsford refused to discuss what his strategy for defense would have been, stating "It would not help any of the others accused in the incident."
  The killings at the King of Spades night club have sparked an investigation into the activities of other law enforcement agencies and the handling of goods and materials confiscated from accused criminals using anti-racketeering statues.
   In related incidents, lawyers for people convicted in several recent high profile cases have already started calling for judical review for their cases citing probable evidence tampering by the US Marshals Service.
